Revving engine??
I have a Dreamstation, use P30i. I have been having issues with this machine since I first got it. I have taken it back to the DME. This is a new problem and is really driving me bananas. So much that I can't use the machine..... It is sounding like a car engine revving up, exhale and inhale, and even in between breaths. DME is not open, so I was hoping to get some info on possibly adjusting some of the Clinician settings. TIA for your comments.

It's not normal behavior. You can try turning off Flex to get by, but the machine should not be making noise. Do yourself a favor and ask for the Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset as a replacement. Very quiet machine, much better results.

I'll side with Sleeprider. I think you're dealing with a sick machine they'll need to replace.

Thank you both. I think I will do that, because I've had nothing but trouble with this thing. Makes me want to go back to my 10 year old F&P...

Quick follow-up, consider trying to grab ResMed if you can swing it. Your choice of course, but if you choose to do so, you may find it suits better.

One of the reasons I changed from Respironics to Resmed was something similar where the machine sound rose in pitch. The Resmed doesn't seem to have this issue.
