S9 Users Only
Did you "invest" in a SkinIt, as seen on ResMed's website, for your machine?

It,s waste of money.
Does the girls fall for the pink trick, S9 AutoSet for her, Swift FX for her, Mirage FX for her.

I,m gonna cover my S9 green on the 17th.
May be Apnea Board can go green too. Happy Saint Patrick's Day Shamrock and Guinness http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/co...clover.jpg

RE: S9 Users Only
Um, Hi first post. Been lurking for awhile. I will not be skinning my S9. Although it gives me precious life sustaining air flow, I hate to think it needs personalizing. That's a little too personal. I prefer to see it as clinical, aloof and mechanical.

RE: S9 Users Only
I was at my supplier the other day, and they were all excited about the skins. I think that the S-9 is great looking the way it is. Covering it up just doesn't make sense to me. I'll be getting my naked version next month.

RE: S9 Users Only
I'm with you, for me, at $45 it's a waste of money. I'm a guy, but I suppose some of the fairer sex might be interested in something like this... or if you're one of those types where every little piece in your house has to be "appropriately accessorized" with proper color schemes and fit in with your decor.
As for home and surroundings, I'm the type that prefers functionality over fashion. Real men don't have pink CPAPs, that I do know.

I about hurled when I saw the pink S9. How stupid. But I knew immediately that if my mother had OSA, she'd get one of those. She is soooo very into pink.
I think I am allergic to pink. I love and adore P!nk, though. The Swift LT for women luckily has blue covers. Had it been pink, I would have insisted on the men's "version".

RE: S9 Users Only
I ran across those covers when I was doing research for purchasing my latest machine. At the time I thought "how ridiculous! Who in their right mind would pay that kind of money to decorate their CPAP". I guess the good news is that everyone on this board is of the same mind-set.
Since I keep my machine under the bed, the only person who sees it is me. Now, if the price were to drop to say $10, I might be tempted to clad the machine in Colts blue.

Ummm, (timidly raises hand),
No, I don't have one, but I could see possibly getting something like [commercial link removed per Apnea Board rules] for my wife at some point. It suits her taste and would buy me a "get out of jail free" pass for a birthday or some such. -----
To maintain our status as an educational organization, the only commercial links allowed in this forum are to CPAP-related manufacturer websites. This is stated in the Apnea Board Rules with details given in the Commercial Links Policy section.Moderator Action: Link Removed ----- Edit: Mea Culpa, I knew better but wasn't thinking... |
