why does pressure drop during lg leak?
Am having large leak problems although since starting Cpap 2 weeks ago it is 50% better. But I am studying the charts trying to understand what they have to tell me. I see that during large leaks, the pressure drops significantly. Why would it not increase, to try to compensate? Will make my first attempt at attaching a chart. Thanks for help. Click on screenshot and it will enlarge.

Large leaks may be exceeding blower capacity to compensate.

Think of using a leaf blower to blow up large garbage bags, no problem right? Now tear a big hole (large leak) in the bag and try to get it to puff up.

The pressure only goes up once the bag or your lungs are full. The CPAP blower does go to full speed, air flow, but there is a big hole in the system so no pressure can be built up
