RE: Advices on CPAP choise ?
Get the Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset. It is an auto adjusting CPAP with the best program to prevent apnea, and not just react to it. The exhale pressure relief (EPR) function works as a bilevel, and puts this machine ahead of any of its competitors.

Used a PR system one from 2011 to 2018. That machine has a ton of hours but still works. Got a Airsense 10 Autoset in 2018. A month ago bought a new Dreamstation auto cpap. Personally I sleep better with the Dreamstation but have slightly better numbers with the Resmed.

If you want to optimize your therapy and make it more comfortable, download OSCAR and post a chart. We can help.

RE: Advices on CPAP choise ?
Thanks. I’ve used sleepyhead since the beginning of my therapy in 2011 and now use Oscar. My yearly average Ahi last year was 0.85. Don’t think it will get much better than that. I do like the way I feel using the Dreamstation vs. my Resmed. Settings basically the same on both.

RE: Advices on CPAP choise ?
I owned a dreamstation for 5 year and never could get it less than 5 with about 15 to 20 events a night. Now with reamed I am down under 1 with the highest amount of events to 3 a night. It was a world of difference for me Obviously some people like the dreamstation for them but far more have found ResMed a better therapy for them.

Exactly my experience, I have a Resmed S9 Auto and PR System One Auto and have used both and have had satisfactory results with both machines but consistently have gotten better AHI scores with the PR System One Auto. With my next purchase I'm pretty certain I'll be going with the PR Dreamstation. |
