SpO2 Assistant Data File Conversion

SpO2 Assistant Data File Conversion
Hi All,

Can anyone describe how to convert an SpO2 Assistant user data file to a CSV file? I was able to do that a couple of days ago while experimenting with the application, but cannot remember how I did this. The simple file export option only outputs as an XML file.

For those not familiar with the application, it's used for reporting and analysis of data collected by Contec pulse oximeters.

I'm interested in this because I would like to experiment with doing analysis and graphing within MS Excel.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You will find the "csv" file for each session in your SpO2 Assistant Data folder. There are 3 files for each session, a "txt", "csv", and the "spO2" file.

RE: SpO2 Assistant Data File Conversion
Thanks so much!

I had to search for the location of the data folder. On my Dell Windows 10 laptop, the path was buried about eight layers from the hard drive root. I now have a shortcut on my desktop to quickly access the files.

On my machine the path was: C:\Users\W S Henry\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\SpO2 Assistant V3.0.4\Data.

This was apparently the path negotiated between the application and the operating system.
