Specifying actual size and value of x-axis units
I sleep across the ResMed Reset on a fairly regular basis. While I know I can't join the pre- and post-noon charts I'd like to get them as linearly correct as
possible.
I can change the start and end values of the y-axis to values of my choosing (not dynamic scaling). So, how do I change the x-axis so the time values are the same size and value on both charts please.
I just spent literally hours to be this succinct and accurate. Please don't send me to a section of the manual I can't find, or worse, the Wiki!
Excited to learn the solution ...
no matter where you put it
RE: Specifying actual size and value of x-axis units
I don't know how to solve this problem with OSCAR except to determine the axis length you wish to have for your finished, say, jpeg image. Then use this ruler's length you've stretched it to by design and match up your AM and PM axes. As I recall, scaling segments of the Oscar axes repetitively was a touchy process.
A Ruler For Windows - free Windows ruler and reading guide
I've used this Ruler for years for similar projects, if not (at some time) as you might use it now. It has several kinds of skins, is fully adjustable for scaling and can be moved around screen, seeming to float on the screen independent of the image, say, OSCAR on the screen.
The Meazure tool is more complex but has many uses, only a few I've needed.
Meazure - Download
Meazure has apparently been taken over by Softonic, about whom I know nothing. I downloaded it and Ruler free, years ago.

I have no particular qualifications or expertise with respect to the apnea/cpap/sleep related content of my posts beyond my own user experiences and what I've learned from others on this site. Each of us bears the burden of evaluating the validity and applicability of what we read here before acting on it.
Of my 3 once-needed, helpful, and adjunctive devices I have listed, only the accelerometer remains operative (but now idle). My second CMS50I died, too, of old age and the so-so Dreem 2 needs head-positioning band repair--if, indeed, Dreem even supports use of it now.
RE: Specifying actual size and value of x-axis units
Already on it. Thank you!
RE: Specifying actual size and value of x-axis units
Since the actual usage is the important factor, and not the time when you used the CPAP, most users that sleep at a day's crossover will set their CPAP's time 6 to 12 hours behind the actual time. This will keep your actual sleep session together.
