RE: Why does what worked, stop working?
Hi Susan,
I also wear my hair similar to you, so I pull it back and grab as much as possible to get a short
ponytail. Then place the bottom P10 strap just under the ponytail which is only 2 inches long. The strap no longer slides up. The trade off being that my hair does not look pretty in the a.m. though!
I would bet that there are men out there with longer hair and could do the same.
Hey, good luck if you should try the Aloha mask.
Something will come along that will work with your TN.

Thanks Mike,
Yes that sounds nice and clean and hygienic The only reason I didn't, is because with my Trigeminal Neuralgia being pained by the mask, it felt better after stretching a bit, and I've heard it tightens up when washed.
Is there a way to stretch it out a bit right after washing to get it back to where it was?
If the TN is pressed on, the mask has to go off and I can't not wear it. In the meantime I'm searching for a mask like the p10 but with more headgear adjustment ability.
Susan
I don't wash my headgear weekly and I would suspect that most don't either.

Thanks Me50, that made me smile! (well and I do wash my hair daily or at worst every other)
But I did go wash my headgear after that, as it was the day for my weekly hose wash and my humidifier scrub (vs the cursory rinse I give it more often) It took donkey's years to dry.

Yep, I'm a Paula. My last name starts with O. On the old forum, I was PaulaO. I came here and the forum software wouldn't let me register as PaulaO so I just did it as PaulaO2. Later that day, I realized I made a pun.
There are only a few of us who get the mask right the first time. Some of us have gone through a ton of 'em. Keep at it. You'll find the right one. What stinks is that your supplier makes you buy it first. There are some online places that have a mask return thing. Not sure how it works or the cost. Check into that and see if it is any cheaper. Shipping is fairly fast.
You know, what about the Breeze? An old mask, yes, but doesn't touch the face anywhere but the nostril. I love that mask! It is noisy though. The air comes out in one single hole like a cyclone.
