Power Outage: Stay Awake Or Sleep W/O CPAP?
#11
RE: Power Outage: Stay Awake Or Sleep W/O CPAP?
This poll is an interesting question for me. I am a new APAP user (since Sept. 2016) and doing OK with therapy. Some problems I hope will work themselves out. Winter is fast approaching here in New England and I am concerned about power outages. The price of battery pack-up by the manufacturer of my machine is outrageous. I found the detailed battery back-up system by a member of this forum a bit overwhelming and perhaps out of my ability to put together. My plan for this winter: sleep in a recliner, check into a hotel with power or try to find a friend with power. Next winter, I hope I will have a better solution and be better prepared.

RE: Power Outage: Stay Awake Or Sleep W/O CPAP?
I would sleep like I did before CPAP because some sleep is better than no sleep and it's only for one or a few nights. No sleep at all is worse.
