I've fairly recently taken the "nasal mask and mouth taping" plunge. I've been using a FFM my whole time since I started pap therapy about 16 months ago because I just can't keep my big mouth shut. I've got to say I enjoy the N30i and the tape doesn't bother me at all.
I've had some leaks that I'm trying to chase so I've been playing with my pressure. I was on 12 with the FFM but I got down to as low as 7 with the N30i and still had sub 1 AHI's. That wasn't high enough though because the machine would be around 10 for the 95% so I've since bumped it back up to 10.
For the last several nights my pressure has stayed 10 or just slightly...like a decimal point higher...so I'm thinking I either need to just leave it at 10 or maybe just drop down to 9.
I'm not sure what the point of this post is...it's kind of me thinking out loud. The screenshots are to show what I'm talking about with the pressure staying pretty much steady.
Your pressure is nice and steady. It looks like you're very well treated at your current pressure settings, but of course it's up to you if you want to experiment and try lower than 10.
It doesn't have to be drastic, you could start with 9.4 and see the results.
Comfort should be first priority since your numbers are so good.
