RE: Still symptomatic/weird flow rate?
Thanks Gideon. Hate to bother you further but I'm having trouble finding out what ATV1 is. Thanks for your help

RE: Still symptomatic/weird flow rate?
Based on the periodic nature of your flow limits I would slowly bring in EPR, start at 1, Fulltime, and see if that helps your comfort.

The v is just above the space bar.

I think Gideon meant EPR 1 (Fulltime) Smile

RE: Still symptomatic/weird flow rate?
Hey Gideon, you said I dont seem to have UARs from the data I provided but I saw this post from you when looking through more data. Me and this guy have almost the same AHI and RDI and extremely similar flow rates. Has the definition changed or something?

RE: Still symptomatic/weird flow rate?
His was based on his diagnostic sleep study plus his presentation of large segments of fairly continuous flow limitations without an arousal.

Your view showed flow limits within your arousal periods. You never displayed flow limited breathing outside of the arousal.

RE: Still symptomatic/weird flow rate?
Other people who saw more nights said otherwise, but considering I have a clear airway, a deviated septum, other nose issues, a RDI of 12 and a AHI of 2 during my test, and the fact I have all the symptoms makes me think I do have UARS. Considering RERAs arent always registered well on CPAPs doesn't make me any more confident that im "sleeping well". I dont really care what the numbers say, I look at my breathing compared to others, and at least from what ive seen (probably on other nights) I have clear flow limitations and 4 other people said so. Its clear I have very weird breathing and many arousals during my sleep. Maybe its not UARs and something else, but almost every other person I spoke to said I had flow limitations and needed to up my minimum pressure. I think Ill just keep doing what im doing instead of throwing my hands up.

RE: Still symptomatic/weird flow rate?
Did you end up getting any better outcomes? Just checking in.
I had a similar at home study result with an RDI much higher than AHI (AHI 7 and RDI 15)

From what I have learned you cannot get the UARS diagnosis without DISE (the drug induced sleep endoscopy.) It seems like such a pain to even try to get that done. The whole thing is frustrating and exhausting.

Keep us posted!

Any ideas?
Numbers look good, blood work looks good, yet I still feel extremely unrested. Had one night in the years using cpap and experimenting where i felt normal, could never repeat it. Probably because back then I had such wide settings. Maybe im just crazy? Thats how im starting to feel. Whenever I zoom on my flowrate however, it seems every few minutes (if im lucky maybe 30 minutes sometimes), I have very weird and sometimes erratic breathing. I wake up a lot at night and I have tried just about everything. I thought maybe its acid reflux because sometimes I wake up with that. But even know that its under control, still wake up a lot. I wear a N20 mask and use mouth tape if that matters. If anybody wants to look and see if they see something funny, knock yourself out. Id chop of a leg at this point to sleep right.
