What temperature is the water in your humidifer?
From old thread:

For example, my PRS1 can be set from 0 (off) to 5, and I find it works well for me at 2. I know it is heating the water, but I wonder what the temperature is at each setting. And ditto for the other machines with humidifiers out there.
Now there you go giving me an idea for an experiment.
I've been wondering what happens at a setting of 1. Does the heater cycle on and off causing the temperature to fluctuate? I'll have to figure out a way to get a temperature sensor in there so I can record the temperature while I sleep.
I started a new thread with this because it has little to do with the original thread where the subject originated.

When you figure out how to determine the temperature be sure to share it. I've wondered that for several years but have no way of testing the water temp. The only time I think about it is when I check the volume of water and find it empty. A reservoir usually lasts me about 2 - 3 nights set at 4.

The water in my H4i humidifier is 104 degrees F at a setting of 3, and 122 degrees F at a setting of 6. I took out the chamber and stuck a meat thermometer in the water.
