As you can see above, you have been lied to on multiple levels. It *is* time for a different/better DME. Get a copy of your script, or better still, see if you doctor will put into the script a machine name and model - then the DME will have no choice whatsoever. Explain to your sleep doc that you wish to have both data-capable, as well as an 'autoset' (hedge against possible future needs) - any reasonable sleep Doc should have zero issues with this as most will *like* that you are willing to do some research into your issues.

Just echoing what's been said above. Return that machine and let them know that you know that it's used.
It's bad enough to give you an obsolete machine but an obsolete and used machine is just unconscionable. I would absolutely refuse to do any business with that DME now or in the future. Definitely get with your doc and then call your insurance co.

That machine was used about 6 months.
