Intro............in search of sleep

RE: Intro............in search of sleep
Thanks Dave

VAuto with high trigger?

That is the other machine also correct?

Pretty much set on the need for ASV but I'll go through the motions with them as I think that's where they are leaning also.

I was going to ask again about trying EPR but just read that that doesn't play nice when CA's in clusters which seems like a good portion of mine are - I plan on asking the sleep lab for my data, I don't know if there is any info on CO2.

AHI last night was around 5. I'll keep my current setting for another few days and then bump up to 9 or 10 but don't expect much change.

My periodic leg movement index was 84 per hr with normal being <15. I didn't see any leg movement arousal numbers. Iron level checked a bit low. That will probably not affect anything as for as long as I can remember I've worn holes in the feet area of sheets! Probably had the jimmy legs for quite a while even when iron was ok.

higher altitudes affecting CA's are just a temp thing in think.

Well, the VAuto is below ASV in the ResMed family tree. The head scratching thing is VAuto has manual time controls, but ASV is hidden Auto time controls.

Trigger we mentioned is within the time section.

I'm still leaning towards ASV being better for you for CA treatment. The therapy results there will be a 99% change to CA are non-existent, while other therapy items being well contained/controlled.
