UPS optios
Prolly been thrashed but first poster here. Please be nice. Airsense 11 user at 20 pressure bouncing . I want to know what UPS people have found to work best for say max 1 hour black outs . ?
RE: UPS optios
It depends on your budget.
If you are sincere about your one-hour coverage, I would recommend a tried-and-true product like the Medistrom Pilot-24 Lite CPAP Battery. However, you will need to buy a cable for your Airsense 11. I leave my unit attached as a pass-thru and do not notice any interruption or need to take proactive actions at night. One hour is easily achievable, even at a pressure setting of 20 cm H2O. Beware: Medistrom has a new unit out, so make sure if which unit you are getting. I live in an area of high Santa Ana winds whipping down a canyon and susceptible to deliberate power outages by Southern California Edison. I am sure other forum users will have their own suggestions. There are cheaper solutions; buying an open-box unit on eBay from a reputable vendor is also an option. If you go with Medistrom, your reseller is the key to warranty service, so choose wisely. There are several battery comparison videos on YouTube. Remember, the ResMed Airsense 11 has different cabling than its predecessors. You might want to read previous forum entries by searching for "backup battery." You may wish to read https://document.resmed.com/en-us/docume...lo_eng.pdf as a backgrounder. Good luck.
