First Night with PRS 1. Ahi of 346, Is this real ?
My Ahi on the Resmed Autoset usually stays under 1 with mostly centrals but still I have been encountering Bad Headaches and fatigue issues since pretty much the starting point.
Found a great deal on the PRS System 1 BIPAP , and just switched to it . Last night was the first night using the BIPAP.
Attached is the Sleepy Head report from last night:
Is the Software malfunctioning.
Is the machine Malfunctioning ?
or I am Malfunctioning.
AHI of 346 from under 1 the night before, how can it be possible.
My initial untreated Apnea was around 56.
Input will be greatly appreciated.
RE: First Night with PRS 1. Ahi of 346, Is this real ?
Obviously a bug. An Ahi of 346 means you did not breathe for 3460+ seconds an Hour. Given there are only 3600 seconds per hour, it is impossible that an AHI of 346 is correct.
We can safely assume that you are not malfunctioning.
What does the readout from the machine tell you. Does it match the sleepyhead readout of AHI?

I am still trying to figure this machine out. It shows me a 7 days average of .4 AHI, which might mean 2.4 for the night.
I cannot locate the single night data info any where.
Also my settings for EPAP were very low at 4. I will try to bump it up to 6 Epap & 14 IPAP tonite.
