I guarantee you they are not literally ordering the same machine that was used in the sleep study.  That machine supports all modes on a a specific machine, costs over $10000,  and is not available to users like us.
They need to be more specific. .

However, they can order the machine that was being simulated during the test.   Believe it or not, these positive air pressure machines are basically all the same hardware except for the firmware that drives their reactions to your respiratory inputs.  So a CPAP can be an ASV or iVAPS with the right instruction set.

Supplier #2 sells new and used machines with warranties (currently $799 USD gently used). Their used machine generally have less than 1000 hours. In the U.S. we can find used machines on Craigslist, Offerup, Facebook Marketplace and DotMed, often for very low prices. A used machine is generally reliable, but it is important to verify it has not been exposed to a smoking household, replace the humidifier chamber, tube and mask and verify the Run Hours. In AU, your options are pretty much Supplier #2 or Supplier #33 or a domestic supplier at much higher costs.
