Need clarification on ResMed models

RE: Need clarification on ResMed models
Just a slice of info on ASV, my ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV has 3 modes, one is CPAP, the old style straight pressure, static if you will, no exhale relief.

PS I'm not indicating the OP wants or needs ASV

What threw me off was I read somewhere that it treats mild to moderate apnea and in my mind I associated it with 'not for me', since I have severe sleep apnea. But after reading more about it, it definitely could handle my apnea, since my prescribed CPAP pressure is 6 (subject to be optimized and tweaked). I have also come across information (on ResMed's website and elsewhere) about OSA behaving differently in women and this machine seems to address that.

Was posted in another Thread re and that AirSense 10 AutoSet For Her, is upgrade the upgrade since "marketing ploy to Sell more "as the upgrade also New Model
AirSense 11 Autoset also contains a "For her" algorithm

RE: airsense autoset vs autoset for her
Just a heads-up: the AirSense 11 Autoset also contains a "For her" algorithm. It is available through the Clinical Menu under "Mode."

Great, you got the best. The For Her AutoSet is tied with the regular AutoSet as the best choices.
