Just an additional thought, however.... It might be prudent for you to keep at least one working old CPAP machine to use if/when your current machine has problems. Going a few nights without CPAP while waiting for repairs or a new purchase can be rough. Always good to keep a spare on hand, if needed.

That, in fact, is exactly what happened a couple of weeks ago. Over a decade on CPAP with nary a problem, and I had to deal with maintenance calls twice in the last few months. The first time turned out to be defective tubing, but a couple of weeks ago my S9, out of nowhere, started making buzzing/wheezing noises. And then the air it was pushing up my nose started to smell like burnt plastic. I think the fan got out of alignment or something. Huge hassle with many screwups, but I got the machine replaced. Was very glad I'd never gotten around to donating my old machine. (And that I knew how to access the clinical menu on the S9. Whoever replaced the machine had set it to the wrong pressure and mask type.)
