Would it be worth getting re-tested?
I've been using CPAP for almost a year and a half, and almost every night my numbers are pretty good (I've attached a typical night). I've lost around 15 pounds since I first started treatment, and my original home test showed mild apnea (8 AHI / 15 RDI), although I wasn't obese when I first started CPAP. Has anyone else had another sleep study done after losing weight and shown any significant improvements in your test results? It would be nice to be able to "test out" of sleep apnea and not have to deal with the hassles of the machine, although I'm wondering if there would still be noticeable benefit even if my new results were below the threshold for diagnosis...
