afib and sleep apnea
RE: afib and sleep apnea
In a reply or your personal profile you can "manage my attachments". You can delete a  few to restore space, or let Supersleeper know you have run out of space and he may up the quota.  I think in the future, there is no need to post multiple graphs or zoom in on events.  The best chart for me at this point is the full night details with left column statistics.  If I need to zoom into something then I'll ask for it.

We are currently at EPAP 8 to 12, and I'd like to start moving that up to 9-13.

Edit: Peter, does your machine have settings for Ti Min, Ti Max, Trigger and Cycle sensitivity?

Sleeprider...

Thanks for the info on graphs...however, if I delete the graphs for my sake, doesn't that affect a future reader's context understanding on this issue/thread? Maybe not important, but just a question...as I'm happy to delete past-posted graphs.

re: Edit...

I've gone into Settings on my machine, but can't find these Ti Min, Ti Max, Trigger and Cycle sensitivity settings.

Any suggestion on where they might be, for an amateur using a ResMed AirCurve10 CS PACEWAVE, on loan and without a manual?

Cheers...poppypete  Huhsign

poppypete, I'm not speaking for Sleeprider, just giving you my take on your charts in the messages I've been reading: Sleeprider suggested that you take out some of your charts.  I know it will take a bit of work, but I can see that if you removed all the charts except the full chart in a message, I still would be able to understand the conversation between you and Sleeprider (or whomever you were answering).

Hi Peter, those settings are on other Resmed VPAP models in the clinician settings. I didn't think the ASV has it, but thought I'd ask

RE: afib and sleep apnea
Sleeprider the settings you asked about are certainly not availiable on the S9 Vpap Adapt I believe the Aircurve is the same

The only settings are

Mode ASVAuto
Min Epap
Max Epap
Min PS
Max PS

BTW the ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV dittos those settings in ASV Auto. These 4 are the only pressure related settings on mine.

Agreed...

...however just before we reach that finality, would you mind just addressing how I might better understand the meanings in what I see on my data please, by reviewing 3 more 'multiples' which I'll later delete?

I attach here last night's full results (AHI 3.79)...

...and follow-up with my question/s...ok???

RE: afib and sleep apnea
Sleeprider...

Can you possibly explain for me why these events are triggered, as seen up close on these graphs, when my SpO2 level is very good (95%), and the heart rate is less volatile in range than we've seen previously...

...the "23.28.42 (62)" is indicating the end of the Apnea (obviously)...

...but that 'event' seems to trigger further activity of a disturbing sleep nature (Hs and UAs) when previous to its happening, almost 1hr 25min had been slept peacefully, and in blissful ignorance of my body's recovery process...

...is the norm, for others too?

Is Central or Obstructive apnea 'simply' the answer?

i'd like to try and understand how to interpret what I'm seeing, a little better...if that's at all possible on my limited education (as compared obviously, with yours and other Forum Board advisors).

Cheers...poppypete  Oh-jeez
