edge of the pillow, hang the mask over the side
hand under the edge of the pillow to help tilt the front of my face upwards
for face down I rotate the pillow 45 degrees and under the back of my head and the shoulder away from my face with the mask hanging off the edge

Hanging off the pillow works, also I find that turning my head slightly into the pillow. Not enough to block the vents, but means you are slightly laying on the mask. Seems to help.

You need a pillow that's relatively thick and sturdy, with a small footprint. I like the Papillow. I recommend ordering an extra pillowcase along with.

so much knowledge thanks so much Tuesday I go to the place that set up my machine I will check out a few different masks and why im in the city ill pick up a cheap laptop and sd card reader
