are RDIs a scam + data review request!

are RDIs a scam + data review request!
Talk about disappointing.... I scheduled an appointment with a pulmonologist a month ago knowing that by this time i'd have a lot of data for them to look at and possibly make adjustments. I got to the appointment and explained that my RDI was something like 29.5 (ahi 7.8) and that I had been feeling tired in spite of using my CPAP religiously. I never sleep without it since it arrived last month and neither my sleep nor mood have improved. I'm trying to hang in there hoping it'll get better and then this Dr comes along and tells me that the RDI is just a figure used to gin up an excuse for buying a cpap? lol what!? Is there some kind of mega conspiracy going on I don't know about? Also, whats the secret to finding a professional(covered by insurance) that will take a look at your SD card data(I always feel guilty asking people here, who don't get anything in return)? Or should I just go ahead and fork over the money for some youtubers to take a crack at it?

I guess on the topic of my data though I do have some questions if anyone is willing to take a look and lend a hand. Are the red hashes I added over the spike ups in the snippet possible RERAs? He seemed to just think that was normal breathing and I was under the impression that this means that there is some sort of respiratory issue.

Thanks in Advance!

In order to tell if those peaks are arousals we'd need you to zoom in so we can see the individual breaths. No sleep doctor I've worked with is willing to spend time looking at OSCAR data unfortunately.

If I were asked, the biggest scam would be the three amigos. DME, doctor, and insurance interaction is just weird. If you don't want CPAP, that's what they'll tell you that you need. If you say it's needed, now it's not.

Welcome to opposite day.

They love their version of data not OSCAR. They love rules on how to set pressure and who gets the honor. They do not want an empowered CPAP therapy user. Just follow orders, Lemmings only need apply for CPAP.
Mask Primer

Positional Apnea

Attach OSCAR, etc.

The first one looks like it was due to a small mask leak and the second two are both RERAs as you can see the flattening of the tops of the preceding breaths and the recovery breath as well as some slight flow limits leading up to the RERA. I also see it's detecting some snore which typically indicates the pressure is too low.
