Hallodare, if you look at your bottle of hydrogen peroxide you will see that it probably says 3% on the label. At that strength, it is a good disinfectant and cleaner, and will foam when it contacts organic material. If you dilute it with water it will have no effective antibacterial action. I occasionally use hydrogen peroxide at full strength, and pour enough into the humdifier chamber to form a pool that I can swish around or physically scrub with a cue-tip swab. This fully cleans the surfaces. You can also use it in tubing, but it must be full strength. About 1/2 cup is enough if you alternately lift each end of the hose to ensure the peroxide contacts all surfaces.

I used to work at Aerojet and we were investigating safe ways to dispose of the ammonium perchlorate plasticized fuel. You're right, I never came across hydrogen peroxide in rocket fuel.  While rocket fuel needs to be highly energetic, rapid decomposition of HP was almost uncontrollable at concentrations above 70%.  Thanks for the reminder.  I do remember that when disposing of AP fuel, crystals on the outside meant you were basically dealing with nitro glycerin.
