There's no need to use a pure sine wave UPS for an S9 or PRS1 CPAP, even if you use the humidifier.
The cheaper MSW UPS models are only a problem for earlier models like S8, and probably some Respironics M series and Legacy machines.
Gee, I just noticed that the [img]www.resmed.com/us/dam/documents/articles/198103r3_batteryguide_glo_eng.pdf[/img] implies that you can't use an AirSense 10 machine with ANY kind of inverter, not even a pure sine wave inverter.
I guess maybe they weren't getting enough sales of the ridiculously overpriced DC-DC converter.
