erqq - CPAP Analysis
Hello. Last year I had a sleep test and as a result severe sleep apnea was detected. I lost some weight in the past year, but my problem continued. I took the sleep test again with the CPAP device and purchased the device. I am using resmed airsense 10 autoset. I've only used it for two days and I'm still getting used to it. I think there is not enough data, but I am still attaching my report and waiting for your comments. I'm waiting for your advice. I think the nasal mask is a little difficult for me. I feel the need to open my mouth.

RE: new to cpap
It is difficult to figure out what is going on with the available data. I suggest setting your min to 7, max to 15, EPR 2 full-time. See if that helps you get a more restful nights sleep. Post more charts when you have a few nights with those settings.

RE: new to cpap
I changed the settings as you said and this is the result. The reason why my sleep time is short is that when I experience apnea, I take off the mask without realizing it. I use a nasal mask, but I cannot say that I breathe very well through my nose. I have deviation in my nose. I constantly feel the need to open my mouth. Falling asleep becomes a big problem. Do you think I should try a full face mask? I'm open to your mask suggestions. The mask I'm currently using is resmed Mirage FX. It came with the device.

RE: My first week with cpap
We need to see more of the graph. Minimize the daily calendar by clicking the triangle in the date and show the full night. This will show us the settings and more respiratory statistics as well as the full-night of data. From this chart, you need to increase minimum pressure to 6.0 to match your median pressure. Once we see the data, we may look at a slightly higher pressure and increase the EPR to control flow limits.

RE: My first week with cpap
If you can move the flow limitations (akim kistilamas) to a visible area, I'm sure we will see a correlation between flow limits and your pressure increases. If you're open to trying a new setting, let's set minimum pressure at 7.0, and EPR 2. I think you can keep the same maximum pressure of 10.0. If you find it comfortable you can increase EPR to setting 3.

RE: My first week with cpap
Try minimum pressure 7.0, Maximum pressure 10.0 and EPR 3. Let's see some good sleep.
