mask broke

The plastic piece broke where I connect my tube to my resmed mask, does anyone know if it can be replaced or do I need a new mask

I suppose it depends on how badly it broke. There are new glues that work very well with most plastics. If it were me, I'd just purchase a new mask.

I am curious though. The plastic on my Resmed F30 mask is quite beefy. Any idea as to how or why yours broke?

If the top connector for the hose that mates to your cushion is broken, replace the entire hose (short or long, depending on your setup).

If the receiver on your cushion is broken, and the top connector on the hose no longer attaches correctly, replace the cushion. 

If the receiver is part of the head gear, to which the cushion attaches, then you'll have to replace the headgear.

Really, except for some people, the replacement cost is almost certainly not onerous.  We're talking about $15 or more, delivered if purchased on line.  Maybe buy two and keep one as a sure-thing replacement.

Mine is a resmed not sure the model, it has like a clear plastic shield and the mask portion snaps into  and the straps attach to it, and can be interchanged with other masks, the shield itself has the connector that the tube connects to and that is the portion that is broken, the I have no idea what that part is called even to look it up, I'll post a pic later of the piece and maybe someone can identify it, I think whats broken is called the elbow

I broke it the 1st day I had it, my previous machine required you to push the hose in and turn to lock it in place, I assumed this one did to, but when I turned it, I broke the connector
