new Resmed ff mask

I aw an online supplier that has the AirMini package the hose setup kit and a F30 mask.  It looks like the elbow configuration is the same on the F20 and F30 so it will fit but I have not seen ResMed update their AirMini documents to confirm this?

• F20/F30 mask connector
  

It's the exact same elbow and the mask has the exact same vent rates. It is also rated up to 30cm pressure. Though I couldn't get it to stop leaking at 17cm.

You get a different elbow in the AirMini setup pack that allows the special AirMini hose to connect.  So I am suggesting that the AirMini f20 adapter is the exact same as the Airmini f30 adapter.

I'm attaching pics of the F20 and F30 elbow side by side. They appear to be somewhat different. Not sure if they would be interchangeable.

The one you've tagged as F20 looks like previous gen elbow and the other looks like the new QuietAir elbow IMO, which is now standard issue.

BTW if you wish to test compatibility, swap the elbows on the other mask.

Dave, you're correct, the elbows on Hihowrya's pics are of different generation, the F20's being the old one. New F20 elbow looks exactly the same as F30 elbow, afaik.

Thank you guys for setting me straight. I got the F20 in August so thought it was the new elbow.

Yep, the "new" elbow is now the standard issue as I understand the situation.

Used the new F30 on both my AirMini (using the F20 adapter) and Dreamstation yesterday. I liked the Dreamwear FF Mask but like the F30 even better. The silicone is just a little firmer and I like the way the wings wrap around your nose just a bit. Much better for side sleeping than the Dreamwear FF since you do not have the air tubes running along the sides of your face.

I'm still willing to try it when I can get my hands on one...I have not tried the Amara View either...I did not have good luck with the Dreamwear FFM....hope this one would be different. I just gotta wait 3 months because I just got a resupply on my N20...i want a decent ffm as a back up for when I'm stopped up....this one looks interesting...I'm partial to Resmed.
