RE: oscar question
OSCAR will report whatever event types have ever been seen on that machine. When you first create a profile, the list of event types will be small. As more event types occur, they will be added to the list. Events that haven't ever occurred won't be shown on the list. For example, you'll never see VS and VS2 on a ResMed machine, as those events are only provided by PR machines. Also, I think that Flow Limiitations, Variable Breathing, and Breathing Not Detected are PRS only. ResMed reports flow limitations through the graph rather than as an event flag.

Resmed flags periodic breathing as CSR. You can relabel it in Preferences.

Even if I figure out how to rename how do you get it to show? There’s others I want to show up.  Let’s say I want snore to be in the window? How?

I’ve came to the conclusion that nothing can be added.  Each machine determines that.  Anyone agree?

Even with certain preferences changed on OSCAR, there's going to be differences in ResMed displayed info versus that of Respironics. That is on the PAP manufacturers reported formats as I recall.

If you have never had an event of that type, then that type will never show up.  So if you don't see an event of type "x", you know that your machine has never reported an "x".  Once it first reports an "x", that "x" will always appear even when its value is zero.  Your list of event types will grow over time as rare events get reported.  It took me more than 6  months to see CSR reported, and now it always shows up even though the machine reports it only once or twice a year.  (I actually consider that report a bit of a nuisance.)

Since ResMed does not report vibratory snore events (VS, VS2), you will never see those with a profile for a ResMed machine. You can't "add" it -- there's nothing to add.

Thank you Dave. I read that if an event happens it’ll show.  But I def think it depends on the machine what shows.  I’ve tried everything to get a new event in there.  I am not going to worry bout it.
Off subject.  Got email finally from fedex.  My S9 ResMed will be here tomorrow.  Go figure.  I’ll let you all know what it is just to see if it would have made me a good one.  I won’t regret buying this ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset with 7 hours for 295 bucks.  It still had the protective plastic on the knob.  I love it.

Congrats on that purchase BTW. I don't think you'll regret it.
