I recently switched to a full face mask, figuring that would solve some of my leak problems.
Thanks

Still tired
Could someone help me analyze my Oscar data. I'm still really tired and I've been using my CPAP consistently for the past month.
I recently switched to a full face mask, figuring that would solve some of my leak problems. Thanks Soupy

RE: Still tired
Hey Soupy, welcome to Apnea Board. You have a good machine in the Airsense 10 Autoset and it seems to be providing mostly good results based on that chart. With a pressure of 5.0 to 18.0 and EPR 3, your median pressure is 9.34 and the 95% pressure is about 12, so there is room to optimize this to avoid some of the pressure variation. When pressure varies too much, it can be disruptive to sleep, even if it is not noticed by the sleeper. Based on this chart your effective pressure seems to be from 9.0 to 12.0. There may be occasional excursions outside that range, but if you set your machine to that minimum and maximum, keeping EPR at 3, you might find it is more comfortable and restful.

RE: Still tired
You should work on your leaks, too. Seems that there's a constant leak.

RE: Still tired
Yea, I'm not sure why though. I switched to a full face mask because I have polyps that were causing me to open my mouth using the nose pillows.
i did get a new mask the other day, so I'll give that one a try. |
