RE: sleep apnea diagnosis
Welcome to the group hantanman! Glad you found us. I'm sure someone with knowledge about the O2 sensor will chime in in due time.
The sleep study test is not fun, but glad it's over and hopefully you will soon get your xpap machine and be working towards better health!
APNEABOARD - A great place to be if you're a hosehead!!

RE: sleep apnea diagnosis
For the most part your O2 level is fine. You do have some dips down below 88% on the chart. Weather this is due to apneas or loose connections during recording it's hard to say without cpap data to crosscheck with. There are sleep study kits you can order on the internet for a couple of hundred dollars. That's probably the cheapest and sure way to find out.
RE: sleep apnea diagnosis
Assuming they were apneas would that warrant a cpap machine?
Thank you
RE: sleep apnea diagnosis
Assuming that apnea was the problem I'd say yes. However what machine you would need for what type of apnea is still unknown without testing unless you can borrow a cpap to do a self test with. Than you might be able to tell.
