RE: OSCAR Release v1.1.0 - dickydutch - 04-19-2020
Where's the best place to report an issue I'm having with Oscar?
It happened in the previous version but I held off reporting it in case it was fixed in v1.1.0, but it's still happening.
On the overview page, some days pressures are reported as gibberish. Purging the day and re-importing doesn't help, but the daily page _does_ show the correct data.
I've attached a couple of screenshots to show this, both relate to last night, 18th April:
(The gap on 5th March was when I was in for a sleep study, so no data that night, and 20th Feb is another example of incorrect pressure data in the overview page, but correct data on the daily page)
System details:
macOS Calalina 10.15.4
16GB RAM
Oscar v1.1.0
Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset - SW Version SX567-0401
RE: OSCAR Release v1.1.0 - pholynyk - 04-19-2020
Only the Daily page is attached; please repost any additional images.
Can you describe the gibberish? Does it look like a long negative number?
RE: OSCAR Release v1.1.0 - DeepBreathing - 04-19-2020
The pressure graph from the overview page is there, just above the daily. Above the pressure, EPAP is given as -34028........ about 30 or 40 digits.
RE: OSCAR Release v1.1.0 - pholynyk - 04-19-2020
Thanks DB, I didn't notice there were two images touching.
And yes, that is the infamous long negative number. We'll look into that. I think we have some sample data, but I'm not sure.
RE: OSCAR Release v1.1.0 - dickydutch - 04-19-2020
Let me know if you want me to send you a zipped copy of my SD card.
My fault about the touching images - manually editing BBcode to insert the images from Amazon S3 while resizing the thumbnails and forgot to ensure clear space between them!
Rich.
RE: OSCAR Release v1.1.0 - pholynyk - 04-19-2020
To be sure I have a sample data set, please create a zip using the OSCAR menu->Help->Troubleshooting->Create zip od CPAP data card and then upload it to bonjour's Dropbox at https://www.dropbox.com/request/6VeFzBXa4qZ37EgphL5b
I can get it from him and catalogue it on my system.
thanks
RE: OSCAR Release v1.1.0 - Crimson Nape - 04-19-2020
dickydutch - Was this data imported from the previous version of OSCAR? If so, try creating a new profile and import the data from the SD card instead of the previous version. See if the problem still exists.
RE: OSCAR Release v1.1.0 - dickydutch - 04-19-2020
Last night's data was imported using the new version of Oscar.
It seems the Help > Troubleshooting > Create zip of CPAP data card is creating a zip structure with a folder named for the SD card, but no data within it.
I've manually zipped the card data and uploaded it to Bonour's dropbox.
Rich.
RE: OSCAR Release v1.1.0 - dickydutch - 04-19-2020
Oddly, I tried creating a new profile, and importing from the folder I unzipped, and it's all good, both days with dodgy overview data are now good.
I then went back to the original profile, purged today's data, and re-imported from the folder, and it's good too. I wonder if there's some odd interaction between my USB-C adaptor (has 3 USB3, SD, Micro SD, Network, headphones and HDMI interfaces) and Oscar causing bad data occasionally?
Tell a lie, all the data looked good, but then I quit Oscar and relaunched it, and several days are now missing correct pressure information in the overview.
However, creating a new profile and importing the data, all dates are good, and quitting Oscar and re-launching seems fine. (I've disabled the preferences to compress the SD card backup and compress session data)
