Oh, and I found this in the owners manual on page 20
"3. This device can use only manufacturer SD card. Please contact your supplier for purchasing."

i was hoping that it may be a simple quick fix like changing an option or something, or maybe even something stupid i overlooked, but i'm getting nervous that it may be something more to my issue Sad

update on my end at least: over the past few days, on my dell laptop i have:
- gone into the properties of the oscar data folders to make sure that Everyone and my user name have full permissions
- i made sure that my document folders, both on the ssd and on MSOnedrive had the read only turned off like i saw in another post (although it was a suggestion for W11 and i am running W10, seemed plausible)
-trying running as administrator
-tried turning off the snore event and waveforms in preferences since that is the last entry in the debug file (although each time i update the preferences, hit ok, then go back into preferences those things are still unchecked - after the crash they get turned back on somehow)
-i then time travelled way back to around 2013 or 2014 via the closet in my old bedroom at my parents home and dug out an old HP desktop and an HP laptop
-spent the better part of today updating and rebooting both machines
-verified that both were 64 bit systems in Settings>System>About before installing oscar
-the HP desktop has W10 Pro and experienced the same issues as my 'modern' dell laptop even after holding down the shift key while starting oscar and trying the different display engine things in preferences
- the HP laptop runs W10, i tried running the install file as the admin just for fun, made sure Everyone and my user name had full permissions, made sure the read only box was unchecked in the properties of all the oscar data folders
-the one thing that was different on the HP laptop was that the checkboxes next to snore event and snore waveform stayed unchecked even after the crash when on the other 2 machines, they re checked after the crash
-i have talked nice to all the machines while trying to import
-i have threatened to throw them all off a bridge into the river while importing
-i have rubbed my head and patted my tummy
-i have patted my head and rubbed my tummy

now i just will wait until the next release of oscar

I see you didn't threaten the CPU with a dose of 220 volts.  Big Grin

We have had a recent uptick in Resvent (aka: iBreeze) import issues.  A Resvent file structure is totally new to me, and we have very limited samples to view for differences.  If you would, please create a zip file of the contents of your SD card and send it to my Dropbox.  I feel that this could be helpful in gaining an understanding of how they record their data.  Please include your AB username in the filename, so I will know as to whom it came from.

Here is my Dropbox URL: Dropbox Upload Request Link

Thanks!

uploading now!

also, i am not a programmer by any means and i switched majors in under grad in 1995 after barely passing the pascal 101 course, so know that as i share my theory on this.....

i have noticed a lot of post state the errors start in october, which is the first month with 2 numeric digits, ie 9 is sept and 10 is october

and before anyone goes into a detailed, gone with the wind, novel of why that is a silly suggestion, know that a simple response of 'no, that's not how it works' or similar will suffice... lol
