Nope, sorry, I am running beta 2.2 on OS-X and there is nothing about PB there on either the right or left bottom corners of the Daily. There is a PB enable on the Overview page, which I never look at. But, while it is in the drop down menu, and is a "green" switch looking thing, there are no PB values on any of the charts on the Overview page. OpalRose has a PR machine and those machines do flag periodic breathing.
FrankNichols is using a Resmed machine and to the best of my knowledge they do not flag periodic breathing. SleepyHead can't show data the machine does not record, but the stuff shows up in the SH options.

RE: 1 month review please?!
Frank,
I have read that CSR is a form of periodic breathing.
In the Clinical manual for ResMed machines, it states that your machine can detect CSR.
Cheyne-Stokes respiration detection available in all modes on the AirSense 10 AutoSet, AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her and the AirSense 10 Elite.
Cheyne-Stokes respiration (CSR) is a form of sleep-disordered breathing characterized by a periodic waxing and waning of respiration. The waxing periods (hyperpneas, typically 40 seconds in length) can include large gasping breaths that tend to arouse the patient while the waning periods (hypopneas or apneas, typically 20 seconds in length) cause blood oxygen desaturations.
I only asked you because of the Clear Airways and wanted to be sure it wasn't showing up along with the typical CSR breathing pattern.

Whoa! Thank you so much, on two fronts!
1. I will look into how to enable CSR events/detection or if it already is (I have not seen them listed!)
2. I have seen flow wave forms of the ramp up and down sequence described as CSR (sort of sine wave amplitude modulation) in my charts and dismissed them since they were not clear/perfect examples as shown in the ones I have found on the net.
I will go back and look at them. I do have a lot of Hypo's and RERA's around the CI's... thank you so much for pointing this out. I will look at it today and discuss that with the Doctor tomorrow.
That is exactly what I was hoping for in this thread, someone to look over my latest charts and see if there is anything they see that I missed and should discuss with my doctor.

Here is what I was referring to above. Does this qualify as CSR? It varies a lot on amplitude and how close it goes to zero.

Frank,
I believe their is a picture of the CSR breathing pattern in your Clinicial manual. You can also google it. I'm working off my iPad, and the crazy thing won't let me copy and paste. It's being ornary.
There would be a waxing and waning pattern, followed by a clear airway.
Also, in the Beginners guide to SH, there are example graphs.

Well, doing some reading on it, one of the "criteria" seems to be that the cycle ends in an apnea and the repeats. In my case I don't see that often if at all. the pulsing waveforms tend to eventually smooth out and seldom if ever end in an apnea.

That's good Frank. Your graph doesn't look like the CSR graphs I've seen.
I think it's good to be aware and know what to look for.
