30 second apnea with no event recorded - please explain
I wonder if someone could please explain this to me - in the interest of furthering knowledge on how this all works.
After a shocker of a night with multiple CA clusters preventing much sleep after the first three hours, I had an afternoon nap today to compensate. I lay down for 49 minutes, the first half of which was marked by multiple arousals as my mouth filled with air. Half way through I fell asleep and hallelujah, woke up feeling rested.
However, I noticed from my graphs that early on there was a 30 second period with no breath, yet no AHI was registered. I was under the impression that even 10 seconds without a breath qualifies as some sort of 'event', so I'm wondering why nothing was recorded?
Any insights appreciated. Thank you - graph plus zoom attached.
