RE: Battery performance experiment
Whether you've got a ResMed machine that needs 24 volts DC or a PRS1 that needs 12 volts DC, it's best use the approved patch cords. Certainly you could cobble something together yourself, but the combination of two cords I need for my PRS1 machine contains fuses and ferrite cores to protect the CPAP machine and keep interference between devices to a minimum. I'm sure the ResMed cord/converter is similarly equipped.

RE: Battery performance experiment
I run my Chinese Apap machine off a 35ah deep cycle with a 240v inverter (Australia). I just made sure I got a pure sine wave inverter as oppose to a cheaper modified sine wave.
If you can run dc to dc all the better. |
