Air New Zealand is great when it comes to CPAP

Air New Zealand is great when it comes to CPAP
So I'm planning my trip home to NZ for a vacation. I called them about using my CPAP machine on the 15 hour flight from San Francisco. The Customer Service Operator was great and explained how AirNZ deals with CPAP machines. They have special outlets specifically for CPAP machines at certain seats. I was emailed a medical equipment form that I had to complete and submit for the use of the CPAP machine during flight.
It was a very easy process, this is my first time flying with my CPAP. Unfortunately Virgin America (my domestic flight from FLL-SFO) require battery and they customer service rep did not know what a CPAP was.
Now I can look forward to seeing NZ again.

I know this is an old thread, but Air New Zealand is still great when it comes to CPAP. I am brand new to CPAP and was a bit concerned about my upcoming flight from Adelaide to LAX. But the customer service was excellent, and a very easy process. one form to fill out, (Part 1 of MEDA only) and it was all sorted within the hour.
