AirSense 11 turned off while in use; why???

I’m newly diagnosed and have an AirSense 11 that I’ve been using 4&ra bit over a week now. A few nights ago, I awoke breathing very shallowly, and then realized there was NO CPAP AIR!!! This alarmed me, I started breathing heavily, and the air suddenly turned on. There was a big, loud leak at my chin. I adjusted the mask while still on air, and that fixed it. I then checked the display and realized it was at therapeutic levels, not the ramp level of 4.

AutoStart is On. AutoStop is Off. I’m certain of this. Unfortunately I didn’t have an SD card for my machine then, so the data is inaccessible to me. I’ve reached out to my provider. I don’t know if just summary data gets uploaded to them wirelessly, or the full data that OSCAR could provide. Either way, they haven’t got back to me yet.

Any thoughts? I’m wondering if it’s possible the mask moved, I had a major air leak, I didn’t realize it because I was too far asleep, and the machine cut off because it couldn’t maintain pressure.

It seems less likely that I turned the air off in my sleep and didn’t remember doing it. I figure if that happened, breathing with AutoStart would have turned the machine on, but only started at 4 and ramped up.

Either way, I want to trust the machine, and it’s worrying to have it stop when I don’t know why. Any help would be appreciated.

Turn off the auto start. We have heard of this before

Airsense 11 will stop if it thinks there is a large leak.
Ive had problems recently with the reservoir leaking and the machine wont stay on for more than a second either automatically or with the on/off button. Once I fixed that it works perfectll with auto on and off as well.

This is good to know. I think it likely I developed a large leak and slept through it at least long enough for the AirSense to turn off the air, and only then did I wake up and assess the situation. This engaged AutoStart, and then I learned there was definitely a large leak. When this happens, I take it the machine goes to previous pressure, not ramp start pressure? I'm hoping my provider can confirm what happened with data.

I feel a little safer with AutoStart on, at least if it works. Why are people here suggesting it has a problem?

autostart does not do anything to help with any safety.  If the machine stops (and there are people here that it says it stops BECAUSE of autostart), nothing happens you can breath with the mask on - nasal (through the mouth) and full face has ports that open up.  Autostart only causes problems - put your mask on and press the start button.....

In my case power adapter was covered by blanket and become hot. 
Catched this night mashine is off. Tried to plag it into other ac socket. Buttons not reacted.

Later in 15 min it started in work mode like nothing happened. Hours used counted correctly(minus off hours). I saw in reports like stopped up to 9 timeas per night before I was wondering why. I also catched it in off mode. Now I think it was power adapter.

My machine has turned off in the middle of the night too!
