Airmini pressure on exhale

Airmini pressure on exhale
There are many threads on Airmini noise. That is not my problem. I have already done the hack to eliminate the HumidX and I am using the same mask that I use on my Airsense (FP Brevida). My problem is the pressure algorithm. Even though I have every clinical setting the same as my Airsense, the Airmini simply pushes too much pressure on exhale. I have even capped the max pressure trying to stop this. It keeps me awake in the middle of the night at times. I really dont want to travel with my Airsense, but the algorithim in the Airmini is terrible in comparison. Anyone come up with a solution to this? Thank you.

RE: Airmini pressure on exhale
Have you tried the EPR setting? (expiratory pressure relief)
Your troubles may also be due to the following: Please Note: Unlike other machines which have universal hoses compatible with any mask, the AirMini™ is only available in package configurations with unique hoses for use with the following masks: AirFit™ N20 with N20 Hose Setup AirFit™ F20 with F20 Hose Setup AirTouch™ F20 with F20 Hose Setup AirFit™ P10 with P10 Mask Setup No other hoses or accessories (including humidifiers) are compatible.

Yes. EPR is on softest setting. As far as hoses and masks, I have done the “hack” mentioned here on the boards regarding adapting the set up to be able to use any mask. That is not the cause of the pressure problem as it existed before. It is definitely an algorithm issue.

That will reduce your exhale pressure by 3 from where it is at when you inhale. That should help. I use the AirMini and have not noticed a problem with the algorithm. RE: Airmini pressure on exhale
Sorry for confusion. I have EPR set to 3 already. Still much more uncomfortable on exhale than Airsense 10 Autoset. Any other thoughts from group?
