Philips Respironics Bipap with AutoSV Advanced

Question
Philips Respironics Bipap with AutoSV Advanced
I have the above listed bipap machine. It has a loud and very annoying beep when it is turned on and off. Does anyone know how to turn the beep off? I'm not sure why the company designed it to do that. As far as I can tell if serves no purpose. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

I don't have that machine. I did a quick Google search and found the manual but no where in it does it say how to turn off the beeps! That must be a pain in the...ear!

I'm sure someone else will have an answer for you soon.

I have the same machine and must not be as sensitive to noise as you are because I find the beep to be neither annoying nor loud. I like it because I turn on my machine in the dark and I can be sure it turned on. In the morning I'm awake so the short beep does not bother me. It's just one little beep. I don't know of a way to turn it off and have been through all the setup menus.
