Any experiences with BMC M1 Mini travel Auto CP?AP
Hi all,

I have had a look at the travel CPAP machines threads but could not find any mention of the BMC M1 mini. This is currently on a Black Friday deal in the UK and I am considering it. It is about half the price (with this deal) of Resmed Air Mini and I can't really see many other travel machines available from main suppliers in the UK. I can't find any reviews on you tube either. I think the deal is on for 2 more days.

Has anyone tried it?

If you have seen any reviews, please share.

Many thanks.

No experience of that particular machine but I do have the BMC G3 Bilevel and I've been impressed by the build quality of that.  The company seems a bit unpopular on here but, as you say, options in the UK can be a bit limiting.....as to the mini...my understanding is that there are no controls in the machine itself and all adjustments etc are done via a phone app....not certain how easy (if at all) it is to get to the "doctor settings".

Thank you for replying. Yes I agree and I took the plunge and ordered it from [DME Link Removed]   "CPAP DME in the UK". They only cary the M1 mini and Air Mini. I have found the Transcend Micro and Z2 on one UK site and both were silly expensive! I think having a travel option will make a difference to making my life a little simpler. If I am going away for 2 weeks and staying in just one or 2 places, then I can pack the big machine, but having something smaller for shorter trips will be useful. In terms of the doctor's settings, mine have not even set anything up on mine yet, they sent me off on a default auto algorithm, but I have a review in December, so maybe they will tighten the pressure range by then and hopefully I can figure out how to replicate that on the M1 (but it is a different manufacturer and thus different autoset algorithm so iit could get complicated).

Yes, I bought it last week. All is fine - especially the low operating noise - apart from one issue I am trying to resolve, namely the adjustable pressure settings between standard/soft/female which is advertised but so far I was unable to find the setting options either on the app or in the device manual itself.
@DrJelly, any luck with the doctor settings? If so, maybe it's my way in for the pressure settings??

SwissTruffle - Sorry I missed your reply back in December. Have you managed to find clinical settings for M1? If not, you can access them in the app by simoultaneously pressing on 'Settings' and the power on/off 'buttons'. That will let you change pressure ranges, modes, responses, comfort etc.

I was geeting on fine with mine It is luder than my home machine but it doesn't bother me. The only time I find it slightly louder is if I am playing audiobook on my phone. I would normally play it very quiet in bed, but with the M1 on I have to put the sound up a little. I hope you are getting on fine with it.
