Anyone know who sells masks with no prescription?
For ResMed10 
I want to try a new model of mask
I ordered one on Supplier #1 (DME link removed) but they will not ship w/o rx and Dr will not return calls about this.
Dr only uses 2 local suppliers  (yeah I know)

You can buy the pieces to put together a mask on a major website that started out selling books and now sells everything. (sorry, I don't think we can name sites) I have order from them for both myself (the Bleep) and my husband (the P10).

As stated above, you can buy all the pieces of a mask separately, without a script.

With that said, if you've kept in contact with your doctor, he/she should have no issue with giving you a copy of your original prescription.

Most online vendors will require a script to be on file before they would send out a mask.

I’ve found the occasional supplier that says, “just make sure to email a copy of the scrip”, and then sends the mask anyway.


If you’re having trouble, request a copy of the prescription from your doctor. Normally just a simple phone call, “Hey, make a copy, I’ll swing by and pick it up after lunch.” The staff usually handles things like that. It’s even easier if they email it to you.

I have bought various fit packs online from various CPAP vendors with a prescription. Those vendors who want a prescription I don’t buy from.

I have purchased 3 masks without a prescription from thecpapshop. They shipped quickly and I was able to return the one that did not work.

You can buy the separate parts also on Ebay.

There is a loophole in the prescription law regarding masks. It seems that parts are exempt. If you purchase the complete mask, consisting of the mask and headgear, it will require a prescription. However, if you purchase the individual parts separately, again the mask and headgear, it doesn't require a prescription.

One of those, "go figure" moments.

I have bought my last 3 mask from Supplier #39. Never a problem, no script needed.
