Narcoleply treatment
I have suffering from daytime sleepiness for many many years. Initially diagnosed with OA and tried CPAP which didn't help. Later with the help of this forum a couple of months back using ASV. As felt still sleepy & tired, I was advised to consult Neoroligist.
Last week I consulted neorolgist and he put me on Methylphenidate Hydrochloride 10. After trying it 1 tablet in the morning, though its keeping awake but I dont feel good. I feel agitated, severely lack of focus, and concentration, fizzity, woobly feet, and its like a tug of war between sleepiness and wakeness,. May be it needs more time adjust with medication? I have read about another medication "orexin". I would like to know if anyone tried it and how they felt. Or any other advise regarding this.
Multiple sleep latency test was not done before prescribing the medication.
