I have had my machine since October last year. Last night I saw a pop up saying "replace the filter". Is this right? Surely, the filter would last longer than 3 months or so?

Code - replace filter
Hi All,
I have had my machine since October last year. Last night I saw a pop up saying "replace the filter". Is this right? Surely, the filter would last longer than 3 months or so?

Hi boar
That how the reminder is set, you change it or cancel it in the clinical menu reminders ResMed say to change the filter every 6 months or more often if required

Hi boar,
I replace mine about every 6 months give or take, but I don't have a very dusty invironment and I don't have any pets so, their dander and hair isn't a problem for me either. YMMV.

Normally I buy 12 pack ResMed S9 filters from local supply store or from Supplier #13 for $30
Once I have ordered generic S9 filters (with other supplies) by mistake from Supplier #10 but had to send them back for store credit (filters is the only item cheaper in Australia) http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-...plier-List

Whew! Those are expensive if you change them out 2 times per month like I do. I either get mine free or I just pay between $1 or $2 for 2 of them if the DME doesn't have them.
