I have used a "Grey Noise" generator, which is much better than the standard White Noise (it's complex sound science, but that's pretty fair to say that).
There is a freemium app for Android and iOS devices, and a related website, that you can use for that, and it is probably the best one around, hands down. Calm is more for people who are mindfulness-oriented.
And yes, they also have binaural sounds.

Top notch excellent product.
Stephane is world renowned for his work.
He samples nature.
Has done this for mobile and desktop apps.
Free , like ApneaBoard, but user supported.
I use it everyday, sleep, meditation, background, binaural , its all there!
