CMS50F
I just received my CMS50F pulse ox meter. It seems to be working fine. I can't install the software due to a "data check redundancy check" error. I installed a version of the software I found online, but it doesn't "see" my device plugged into the computer. Any advice or suggestions for where I can find software that works?
Best regards,

I tried installing both software programs. Neither of them "see" the device. Now what?

Is there data on the device?
Does it say 'downloading' or have any red text on the SpO2 Review software?

Gal,
There's been some discussion here about the cable supplied with some CMS units. It has a connector that is much bigger than it should be for just USB. My personal experience, I got a CMS 50E and tried one of my other mini USB cables, no luck. I then tried the cable supplied with the unit and it worked, no problem. I then got the three other mini USB cables and devices I had (a couple garmins and a camera) and none of them would work with the CMS supplied cable and the CMS wouldn't work with any cable but the CMS supplied cable. Others have said that this is bunk. Just thought it might be you're using a cable you already had and this might be an easy fix. Best of luck!

RE: CMS50F
The CMS50D+ uses a cable that has some additional circuitry on it. Despite the "USB" style plug on the pulseox, it's not actual USB and needs the special cable.
In theory, none of the other CMS pulseoxen use a special cable, but try the original manufacturer's cables just in case.
