Mysterious leaking from a new P10 mask
So I've been using the Resmed P10 nasal pillow mask for about 2 years now without any leak issues, then about 2 weeks ago I trashed it and got a new one. Everything on paper is the same as before; same pillow size (L), same headband placement, same cpap setup, and so on. However now there's a consistent leak happening that hasn't gone away no matter what I do. I've felt around the mask, tubing, and machine while it's running and found no evidence of a leak. I've heard that a new (tighter) headband can cause problems, but I never had this problem prior even with new headband replacements. I've attached a before and after of the leak chart.

   

   

I'm out of ideas at this point, and considering just buying another P10 to see if that fixes it somehow.

Anyone have any ideas about the source of the problem?

I don't know why it's happening, but I do know it's still very little leaking.  It's not enough to even come close to interfering with your therapy or comfort, so I would just ignore it.

Nothing to worry about there. There is enough difference from one manufacturing run to another that something like this is highly possible and probably likely. 

Similarly, I have one mask that shows no leaks, but another of the same make and model that shows a consistent 3 cmH2O leak. I can switch things up with my backup machine, hoses, water chambers, mask, cushions. and the leak follows the new mask. I spent months trying to figure it out and in the end realised it just did not matter.
