if i keep getting these low and high AHI's does that mean the therapy isn't working? like am i wasting my time using the cpap or is it still beneficiary even though the AHI's are fluctuating?

I'll back up what Sleeprider said.
Your events are clustered to when you are obviously awake, anxious. Otherwise your therapy is fine. Perhaps move the appoint up, or request meds to ease you into sleep or therapy to do the same as suggested above.
