ResMed access with AirView

ResMed access with AirView
Hello all,

About a month ago I was able to purchase (steal really @ $800.00) a ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV machine with zero usage hours on it from a guy that bought it so he would have a backup in case one stopped working. I'm now trying to get supplies replenished and my Sleep doctor nor my supplier can access the compliance report through the Air view system they both use because they say the original supplier locked the machine, so they were the only ones able to access it and we don't know who they are. I have sent the SD card to my supplier so they can get the report they need but does anyone know of a way that I can get this unlocked since I do not know the seller's doctor or supplier and the seller won't call me back.

Sleeping like a baby with this machine,
Steve

To My knowledge Resmed won't talk to You directly ..
Your Dr. and Supplier have direct access to Resmeds technical people ..
If the machine can be locked, They should be able to unlock it ..
Resmed should also know the supplier that sold it originally ..

This statement ( I was able to purchase (steal really @ $800.00) ) ..
Got Me thinking Why would someone sell something They bought
as a back up when they may still need it ??
A good cover story for stolen goods ??
Have You checked with local law inforcement where the machine came
from ??  Could this machine really be stolen ??
That might be why its locked ??

I don't mean to rain on Your parade just food for thought !!
Best of Luck
Steve

That was my thoughts exactly and why I almost didn’t buy it until I figured out that he had just switched to the new ASV 11 and had both his used and this new one for sale. I stocked them on Facebook to figure out they were as genuine as far as I could tell. Part of me still figured I was getting taken. My doctor checked the machine over and this is the only problem we can find.

As I said above Your present supplier can contact Resmed ..
It should just take time to iron out the lock thing if Your
supplier is willing to put forth the effort ..
