CPAP cleaner Respify [anyone buy this?]

Just wondering if anyone has bought this -Respify  (on Ebay )

 I bought it and been using it once a week for the last 5 months to Sanitizing everything once a week
I still wash mask every day and wash everything once a week then use Respify
  The guy says its working when you smell that certain air smell and after 2 hours  your good

 Lots of 5 stars but the fact is not sure how he backs up his claim it kill 98.5-99.8% Germs
on smell

With a total of 32 reviews, I'll take your word for it. Can you describe the system? Sounds like a plastic bag that gets some ozone blown into it.

I  looked it up. It appears a small battery powered ozone generator is placed in a sealed plastic tote or bag containing the CPAP parts. There seems to be no provision to actively circulate air to assure that all or even most of the O2 in the container is converted to O3. It's doubtful, therefore, that many of the surfaces, especially the interior of the hose are ever exposed to ozone. There is also no provision for inactivation of the ozone except time for it to degrade to O2. There are no references to any type of lab studies.

its a small device  triangular  measures 3 inches  it would be great for traveling very small
and yes it does come with a Plastic Bag BUT THAT WOULD BE FOR traveling only
  While using it at home they tell you to buy a plastic sealed container with lid on, mine is 14 by 10 and 8 inches tall
Walmart $5-10

  it is power by rechargeable Lithium battery expect to get 4-8 cleaning's before recharging its USB
and they say you get around 500 charges before you discard it
 It say you need to use it at least 2hr min each time for a full clean


  So it is very handy, small and doesn't take up any space, for traveling it would be great plastic  bag and a the 3 inch device

  My only concern how do you know it really works, yes you smell the refreshing odor --activated oxygen

There is a strong ODOR after 2 hour in the container but like the one person said there no circulation but am assuming
because of the strong odor it would get inside of the hose I guess but NOT sure

Ozone is toxic. That strong smell isn't doing you any good.

IMO Dawn or Baby shampoo, warm water, with scrubbing/soaking takes care of cleaning needs for my ASV. It's much cheaper and even more portable than any ozone "cleaner". BTW the ozone cleaner actually cannot clean the parts. From what I read, even the machine cleaner websites (regardless of product name), for the most part, still say clean the parts with soap and water. And from my limited knowledge, nothing is truly, in scientific terms, getting sanitized at an in-home setting. At the very least, if sanitizing were actually accomplished in at-home settings, it would be very difficult to maintain that status. A sealed lab setting would be required IMO, but never at your home.
