You have excellent figurtes and many of us are can be jealous when we can see your smooth flow curves. You have already in the range where your feeling smatters more than the figures. Dont chase the figures there is a limit, and too high pressure has some side effect as well.

G. Szabo,
Thanks, but I wasn't going by the numbers, um but the breathing patterns in the zoomed in.. That breathing pattern is very repeatable. Funny you mentioned high pressures, I was on 15cm cpap mode from the fall of 2018 until July 2024, per my sleep doctor. My 2nd titration sleep study showed that I did better with 12cm of pressure. My 2nd night on the new AirSense 11 is below. Lurking here and reading and getting help has been a tremendous benefit.

Your flow limit figures are excellent.
You can probably eliminate your CAs with an instrument like mine, where the trigger function does this trick. This will lower your AH by about 50%.

G. Szabo,
Thanks! It seems like I need to make this reply greeting a keyboard macro. I would like to try a machine like yours, but maybe the CAs would go away as I get used to this slightly higher pressure. I won't change anything for a few days to see. I don't think I am triggering the Flow Limitations counter, but my breathes are kind of crappy. Would creeping the pressure a bit higher be helpful?

It would be best if you forgot about the formalities here. Just focus on the message.
You have some inhalation peak disfigurations indicating inhalation restriction. A pressure increase can mitigate them up to a limit, so you can inch the pressure higher. But you also have some distortion in the exhalation period, like snoring, which is more difficult to resolve. Have you tried to tape your mouth? ( Sorry, You have a long thread, so it is easier to ask) If not, you should tape your mouth. It helped me a lot. |
